It’s
likely you would appreciate some predictions. I’m better at ‘insights’ which you
know if you have been reading my monthly offerings.
Other than that I can say that the
highlights for the New Year seem to me to be the following:
The
eclipses slipping back to
Gemini and Sagittarius from Cancer and Capricorn.
Gemini is the sign of education,
communication and journalism (among a host of other things). Sagittarius is the
sign of higher learning, vision and on the less awakened side, the unfortunate
realities of opinions and
fundamentalism. We have already had a big taste of this with Wiki Leaks and we
will be dealing with the fallout for a while.
In your personal life consider what
happens when you say what you don’t mean or mean what you can’t say. Eclipse
dates: June 1st and 15th; November 25th and
December 10th.
The spate
of Full Moons we have had at 29 degrees of Libra, Scorpio and Sagittarius
continues through February, including Capricorn and Aquarius. This is a
powerfully symbolic suggestion that we are on the cusp of the next wave of
crises and change regarding the global situation. This probably doesn't come as
a shock to anyone. It's very possible that the hype about 2012 is really right
now! We have
met the enemy and he is US!
Uranus in Aries: March 11th
Uranus represents social change;
revolution and its best friend, revelation. Aires is about individualism and the
need to breakthrough. ‘The people united’ is my most optimistic thought: Social
change based on a diverse group of individuals understanding their need to
connect and take action. Other thoughts are more about the
kinds of things that happen when individuals are swept away by some kind of
collective fear.
Neptune in Pisces: April 4th
– August 4th. (more to come in 2012)
Neptune is transcendence, spiritual
realities, altered states, drugs (both pharmaceutical as well as natural) and
the big con. It is also about fashion as well as The Waters. Pisces is the sign
we astrologers think it is most at home in. Neptune and Pisces together conjure
an image of the Great Big Sea or the
Waters of the World. Aside from
breakthroughs in the realm of what we know, or think we know about consciousness
it should also reflect new fashion trends (we will all want to look like
mermaids) a new guru or maybe 10,000 new gurus – a spiritual teaching for
everyone. I suspect that the need for more compassion will arise in direct
proportion to the water levels.
