Sun enters Gemini: 08:36 PM EDT
Gemini like never before! Supported by Pluto, Neptune, Saturn and of course, Uranus in Gemini. This is the sign of clever ingenuity and magics of all sorts. Expect no restraints. On one hand (Gemini rules the arms and hands) be extra vigilant regarding scams. Scare tactics and flattery are bred in the bone of the human psyche and make us vulnerable. (Fear makes us vigilant against predators and flattery is a perversion of love and trust.)
On the other hand, Gemini is the profusion of spring – the flowers and flying things, the shape-shifting diversity of wind, water and time, the zephyr as well as the tornado. Gemini is language and all that language empowers in us.
An exceptional month for conversation between real humans. Listen for words of genuine empowerment rather than distractions. Play with all manner of ideas. The marketplace is abuzz with curiosities and tricks as well as inspirations and synchronicities; stranger than fiction. We are passing through a myriad, a hall of mirrors, a sorcerer’s laboratory. Are we playthings of the Gods or have we simply been let loose in Wonderland?

As the Sun travels through Gemini this year it will conjunct Uranus, sextile Neptune and Saturn, trine Pluto. If you follow along with asteroids you might take note of the Sun as it sextiles Vesta and Pallas Athena, trines Juno and conjuncts Ceres. Asteroids are energies of strength, not power. They are non-hierarchal and life affirming. If we turn our awareness in their direction their effects become more noticeable. What the world needs now…

Venus square Neptune
Sun conjunct Uranus (and Sedna)
Mercury sextile Saturn
A bit of madness in the air. Unassuageable longings, brilliant (possibly fleeting) insights, and opportunities to get ahead of the madness if you focus your attention. A good day to acknowledge your addictions and be on the lookout for ways to hold the line. Engaging in the ‘right’ kinds of conversations matters. Hold off using AI to solve your emotional problems. Humans still own language. So be it.‍ ‍

May 24
Sun sextile Neptune and Vesta
We are offerings to Life Itself. What are your dedications? What does your devotional nature turn toward? Who or what do you serve? For the length of our stay in life the mandate is to do the best we can, to know that is good enough and to leave this earth and our loved ones better off, more aware, and steady on their own paths. You might not think so when you look at the ‘state of the world’ but that’s another story; parallel (but not exactly) to the personal story for most of us. If you are considering the political mess of the global moment, look for the ways our leaders devote themselves to the task they have signed up for.‍ ‍

May 25
Sun square the nodes
Mars sextile north node
Nodes are not planets. They are related to eclipses. Their most meaningful aspects are conjunctions with the Sun and the Moon. Today with two planets aspecting them consider the rabbit hole of reality which we have unwittingly stepped into. In this Wonderland it is clear that we are in it together and that the suffering of others touches us more deeply than we know. We are all in service to the wounds of the world. ‍ ‍

May 26
Mars square Pluto
Sun trine Pluto
Aspects to Pluto evoke issues of power. Power has many faces. Mars wants a fight. You would think we have had enough of fighting. Sun wants an investigation, a revelation. We’ve had a lot of that too. Today we meet challenges best by learning something new. We like the notion of speaking Truth to Power but there is nothing ultimate about truth or power. They are shapeshifters, skipping from soul to soul, changing, depending on who and how they are expressed. ‍ ‍

May 28
Venus square Saturn
We were raised to believe we could have whatever we wanted. We have lived into a time when we see this as a dream of consumer mischief that has left the world in dire straits (Hormuz for example). Today might require a box of rain to see us through. ‍ ‍

May 31
Full Moon: 09* Sagittarius: 04:45 AM EDT
Mercury sextile Chiron
Consider the idea of gentle wisdom. Not the bombastic ‘sinners in the hands of an angry god’ we have tried so hard to eradicate nor the banal truisms of Hallmark Cards. Imagine a wise teacher who knows the value of gentle rain on thirsty ground, the light touch of warm sunlight on a blossoming flower, the caress of a hand on the cheek of a tear-stained face.
A skilled Wise One can tell a story that brings order to chaos and restores us as we travel the windblown path.

June 1
Mercury enters Cancer
Sun trine Juno
How we think about things shapes what we think. The same is true of where we do our thinking. Maybe even when. In Cancer Mercury draws our mind to the past: history as well as herstory, not to mention childhood and the lineages we carry from our parents. We do well to make time for rumination, consideration and generally mucking about in these lineages. The past creates the present which becomes past. Mercury will be retrograde in Cancer and so spend a longer than usual time here: Today until August 9th.
Juno adds spice to the mix. If we are turning toward the past consider, not just the mothers but the women and the way they have been
written out of the story of the human adventure. This, even in the whiplash of the backlash. ‍ ‍

June 2‍ ‍
Sun sextile Saturn
D oubt has its place. Sometimes, biased or not, we must trust our own perception. Gemini is the sign of the Magician. We all know the hand can be quicker than the eye and that scammers are everywhere. We need to trust our own sense if something isn’t right. We have that sense although we are being trained not to use it. You be the Magician. You be the one who slips away from the hook of manipulation that seeks to take what belongs to you, be it your time, your money or your attention.‍ ‍

June 3
Mercury square Neptune
Ceres conjunct Uranus
Navigating through a fog of misinformation is bound to make us edgy. Out of the mist can come terrible and wonderful things which we cannot imagine and so we imagine something worse! Sit. Be. Allow the world to be what it is, if only for a minute here and there.‍ ‍

The universe
is forever out of control,
… trying to dominate events
Goes against the current of the Tao.

#30

June 4th – 7th
We are guided solely by the Moon waning toward the last quarter phase. Observe your convictions, your beliefs and how invested you are or aren’t in having other people see it your way… ‍ ‍

June 8
Ceres sextile Neptune
We long to take the children of the world and shelter them in our hearts. If only we could. ‍ ‍
Of course there are always the children local to you.

June 9
Venus conjunct Jupiter ‍
Pallas-Athena conjunct Saturn‍ ‍
In a sea of troubles there are blessings. The quality of empathy is a gift we are given at birth. The lack of it is a forgetting. Let us remember. ‍ ‍
Pallas reminds us to look for the pattern in the whole of things. Appreciate the weave, acknowledge the rips and mistakes. To be a good maker you have to be willing to ‘frog’. Rip it, rip it‍ ‍

June 10‍ ‍
Mercury square Saturn    ‍ ‍
Misunderstandings that sullied a connection, which you or they believed , take effort to straighten out. Doing such work strengthens our ability to focus and understand. Avoiding it is to be mouse to a cat that would play us for fools and toss us into the trash when it’s done.‍ ‍

June 12
Mercury in the shadow of the retrograde to come (June 29)
As Mercury moving through Cancer comes to the territory (the degrees) of the coming retrograde period. This offers a hint of what’s to come during the actual retrograde. (June 29 – July 23). It’s not retrograde yet. More like footsteps over a future that will ask us to look back… ‍ ‍

June 13‍ ‍
Venus square Chiron‍ ‍
Venus enters Leo‍ ‍
The heart has a kind of wisdom quite different than the head. The human psyche is made of masculine as well as feminine. There is no way to alter that. Use the wisdom of your heart today as you navigate the binaries of the world. Not ‘either or’ but ‘both and’. ‍ ‍

June 14‍ ‍
New Moon: 24* Gemini: 10:54 PM EDT ‍ ‍
The nature of mind is to flit, fly and flicker like bees and butterflies. What flowers will you pollinate this month?‍ ‍

June 15
Venus sextile Uranus
Venus on a bit of a tear over the next 3 days as she aspects the outer planets. Gods – and goddesses – hate to be ignored, and Venus most of all. She reminds us that our human nature is to seek pleasure, harmony, beauty and comfort. From these things we build our values. We are naturally given to attachment. The ability to hold on tightly even as we let go lightly calls to us when Venus is afoot. How is that relevant in your life? Too attached is addiction. Not attached enough is negligence. ‍ ‍

June 16‍ ‍
Venus trine Neptune ‍ ‍
Vesta conjunct Saturn ‍ ‍
Are you attached or possessive of the right to engage your soul? Do you believe you have a soul? Do you long for greater connection to the soul of nature which gives life to the universe? I hope so! A.I. has no soul and cannot ever have one because the soul is seriously attached to the body (while we are here, in life). Beauty not glamor nourishes the soul.
Vesta reminds us to take this seriously. ‍ ‍

June 17‍ ‍
Venus opposite Pluto ‍ ‍
Everything we thought we were entitled to is under review. Whose world is it? And why is everything a commodity? Even beauty and the essentials of life…

June 19
Chiron enters Taurus   ‍ ‍
Chiron is making it’s first foray in about 50 years into Taurus territory. It will be there until September when it returns to Aries. Chiron will return to Taurus for a longer stay in April 2027. Chiron is the master teacher as well as healer. Taurus is about values, self-worth and by derivation, the economics of the world.  Economies are built on values.
While Chiron is in Taurus, we’ll be rebuilding our sense of self-worth. Sensitive points include our feelings about comfort, indulgence, money, personal belongings, and our values.
T‍he early degrees of a sign offer glimpses of how it will be as the planet (or planetoid as in the case of Chiron) unfurls its presence in the particular sign. Heads up!
